Lorraine and Tomas met THE NEXT DAY, February 9, 2013, at the house of friends in San Pedro el Alto and went to a concert in the main square in Antigua that evening.

They liked the concert and each other, so had a lunch a couple of days later.  A few more concerts and a few more lunches followed, as they got to know each ether, little by little.

Since then, they have travelled to Tikal, Havana, Boston (to see the "Rolling Stones"), New York 3x, London 2x, Cologne 2x, Rome 2x, New Orleans 12x, L.A., Roatan and Barcelona, Paris, Madrid, Scandinavia, around Germany, Italy, Holland  & France.  They saw a ballet in Budapest and listened to "Carmen" in Prague. Since that first concert, they have heard concerts in Venice, Amsterdam, Guatemala City and Vienna, operas in New York and London.  They saw "Swan Lake' in Lincoln Center in NYC and again on Lake Chapultepec in Mexico City.  In all cities that we visit, we light up candles in churches and say "Thank you, Mr.God", because surely it was he who made Lorraine stop the car on the way out that first day lunch, so that Tomas could invite her to that concert.  It's all Werner's and Maria Elena's fault.
